Match Report – Prosperous United v Clane United (u12)

Match Reporter - James Blythe
The two sides met on an overcast yet dry Saturday afternoon. From the start, Prosperous were troubling the Clane United defence. Clane also had a few chances of their own, but Prosperous dealt with them well. Eventually, just before the first half, Prosperous broke the deadlock.1-0!
Early in the second half, Prosperous got another goal. 2-0! But then, a few minutes later, Clane got one goal back from a penalty. 2-1! The next few minutes were tense, but ten minutes before full time, Prosperous scored again to put the game to bed.
Very entertaining match, good link-up play, and some really good pressing by both teams.

This match report is on Castle Villa and Prosperous United which had a great outcome. We started with two amazing goals in the first half from Ruby Skelly and Alana Bourke. We also played a great first half we pressed well and we defended well too. We had great control on the ball and we created great opportunities.
Second half started with an amazing goal from Alana Bourke within seconds. Unfortunately Castle Villa found three goals with not much time left. We pressed their defence trying to find one more goal then last minute of the game we had one last chance and thanks to Alana with an outstanding goal we won four -three.
An amazing win and the best we have ever played. We played great as individuals but also as a team, defending, attacking, communicating, opportunities are some of the things we did great on in this match.
