Since our last update, we have had Plenty of Games for many of our teams. The teams still playing also benefited from a weekend off last week with the Bank Holiday.
Our U12 White team finished their season with a win and a loss in their last two games against Sallins and Monasterevin respectively.
The U15s finished their campaign with a big home win against Arlington.
The U13s have been one of the busiest teams in the country, playing 5 MATCHES since the last week of May. After winning against Monasterevin and Naas, losing against Rathangan and Derry Rovers they faced Kill Celtic at home to end their season. Unfortunately, they were on the wrong side of a thrilling 2-1 defeat losing in injury time!
Congratulations and well done to all of our Players and Coaches who have now completed their 2023/2024 seasons. Enjoy your break and see you all for Pre-Season in August!
While the above teams have been winding down, our Summer Season Teams are picking up the pace and filling the Football Void!!
The U9 Twin Team returns to action tomorrow with a trip to Rathangan - the teams will be looking forward to this after the break over the recent long weekend!
Our U10s were victorious on their trip to Castle Villa in their last game. They play tomorrow at home to Naas United Black Team.
Our U11 Girls came back from 1-3 down to beat Naas at home 4-3 when out last. Their next opponents will be Moone Celtic - once a date and time to suit these girls' busy diaries can be organised!!
Tonight sees the U13 Girls make the trip to Monasterevin for their first game since losing by the smallest margin 1-2 at home to Sallins before the Bank Holiday.
Tomorrow also sees the return to matches for the U14 Girls. They make the short trip to league leaders Sallins in their first game in just over 3 weeks.
For a change this week our Senior Men's Team will also play on Saturday. They make the trip to Leixlip to play Liffeybank FC in our eagerly awaited return to the Lumsden Cup! Hopefully the Senior's good form of late will continue - they have won their last two league games and beat Allenwood Celtic last Friday in a competitive friendly 2-3. Kick Off tomorrow evening in St Catherine's Park is 17:30
